6Films Premiere & Celebration of Local Arts

The Turners Falls Film Project just had our first official premiere event: a screening of the 6 short films we shot in Turners Falls and Montague this past fall. We celebrated a night of local arts, showcasing pieces from local artists Mike Sliva, Teri Billington, Adam Caron, Erin Myers, Ami Ngom, Ndeye Thiorro Pouye, Fallou Beye, Kat Tingle and Carey Crooker at the Gallery at Hallmark, and featuring more art by Chad Champoux, Kat Tingle and Allen Fowler at the Rendezvous. Aside from screening the 6Films and contemplating the beautiful art, we also were entertained by live music from Nobody's Fat and The Heather Maloney Band. Everyone arrived in style for our red carpet and the paparazzi was ready and waiting to take their photos.

The screening took place at The Gallery At Hallmark, followed by an after-party at The Rendezvous on Saturday March 5th, 2011.
